C'est marrant comme un dessin est parfois plus intéressant quand il est à l'envers.... ^^ (Ici, c'est probablement parce que l'orientation de l'ensemble suit notre sens de la lecture)

Portrait de mon pote Ysope, dessinateur de presse. 

Pourquoi un centaure ? Ah ! D'abord parce que son pseudonyme fait penser à Esope (Esope, les grecs, les colonnes, Ulysse, les centaures, toussa... ), et aussi parce que c'est une petite blague entre nous, mais je n'ai pas le droit de vous en dire plus... 

De même que la petite abeille sur la gauche, mais là je peux parler : Ysope a un problème d'abeille récurrent ; )

Before the final result, here is the inking process. As I told, I haven't used the rule, in order to restitute the chaotic and disturbing appearance of Gotham ! 8 )

Just a little teaser (the first since a long time !) to tell I'm still alive and I've started to approach the board again. So I've begun with the inking of the Bats ^^

Juste un petit teaser (le premier depuis longtemps !) pour vous dire que je suis toujours en vie, et que j'ai recommencé à me rapprocher de la table. J'ai donc commencé par l'encrage du Bats ^^

Et voilà la grosse bébête ! :) )

Prochaine étape l'encrage pour lequel j'hésite un peu sur les outils à employer.. Je sais en revanche que je n'utiliserai pas ou très peu la règle pour encrer le décor, afin de donner le maximum de caractère et de personnalité aux immeubles de Gotham. 

Dans les aventures de Batman, Gotham est un personnage à part entière. Je me suis sans surprise inspiré de sa représentation classique, une ville à la fois steampunk et gothique, inquiétante, agressive, sombre, à l'image de son chevalier noir !

A bientôt pour d'autres dessins, et la suite de celui-ci dès que possible.... ^^

Next step the inking, for whom I have a hesitation concerning the tools to use.. I just know that I won't use, or for a very little part, the rule to ink the background, in order to give the maximum of temper and personality to Gotham's buildings.

In Batman's adventures, Gotham is a character in itself. Without any surprise, I inspired myself from its classical imagery, a city all the same steampunk and gothic, insecure, agressive, dark, as its dark knight is !
